AMD Epyc 4004 supported by Gigabyte enterprise platforms

AMD has announced a new family of 4th Generation AMD EPYC processors, the EPYC 4004 series. This entry-level server platform is ideal for small and medium-sized enterprises and hosting services. More importantly, GIGABYTE server motherboards already available in the market can support it. The EPYC 4004 platform uses the same AMD AM5 socket as the AMD Ryzen 7000 series.

Customers who have or purchase GIGABYTE enterprise products for the AM5 platform can simply apply the BIOS update (if not already applied) and the GIGABYTE server or server motherboard will also support EPYC 4004. The new update can be downloaded from each of the websites listed below products.
