Supermicro offers three types of protection:
- Standard (for servers and parts)
- The customer must send back the faulty component for repair. Supermicro usually replaces the component with the cases. It usually takes from 2 to 4 weeks.
- Cross-Ship (for servers with mounting and servers without mounting)
- Replacement of a faulty component with a working one usually takes up to 5 business days. Cross-Ship can be extended up to 60 months (5 years)
- Next Business Day (for servers)
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold (SLA 4 hours)
- Platinum (SLA individually agreed with the customer)
