Supermicro - Types and terms of warranty (Standard, Cross-Ship, Next Business Day)

Supermicro offers three types of protection:

  1. Standard (for servers and parts)
    • The customer must send back the faulty component for repair. Supermicro usually replaces the component with the cases. It usually takes from 2 to 4 weeks.
  2. Cross-Ship (for servers with mounting and servers without mounting)
    • Replacement of a faulty component with a working one usually takes up to 5 business days. Cross-Ship can be extended up to 60 months (5 years)
  3. Next Business Day (for servers)
    1. Bronze
    2. Silver
    3. Gold (SLA 4 hours)
    4. Platinum (SLA individually agreed with the customer)
