Supermicro X13 motherboards dedicated for 12th Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron

Quite recently Supermicro released the X13 series motherboards. These boards are dedicated to servers, workstations and one board for embedded solutions.

Generation X13 supports 12th-generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron processors that fit into the LGA-1700 socket and have a maximum TDP of 125W.

The feature that catches the eye first is support for PCI-E 5.0. Additional highlights include support for DDR5 RAM (except for the X13SAV-LVDS, which supports DDR4-SODIMM) and a 2.5GbE network interface. Each board has TPM 2.0 on board, showing that the boards are ready for Windows 11.

Supermicro has only released one complete device for the moment - the SYS-531A-IL workstation

For the moment, the number of platforms dedicated to LGA-1700 processors is limited.

It can be expected that in the near future this list will be expanded, perhaps even with ready-made rack solutions, which would be a big surprise.
