BIOS Recovery [Ctrl + Home]

| F.A.Q.Support

BIOS recovery:

  1. Download the BIOS package from the product page, unpack it and rename the BIOS file to “SUPER.ROM”.
  2. Copy SUPER.ROM to the root of a USB stick (does not need to be bootable) and plug it into a USB port.
  3. Start the system and repeatedly press CTRL+HOME to start the recovery module if it is possible.
    • During the recovery process you may or may not have VGA output, we recommend to leave the system alone for about 5 minutes.
    • As the BIOS recovery does not flash the complete BIOS, please perform a regular BIOS update after the recovery to prevent further issues.
    • The HOME key is not available on all keyboards. A German keyboard has “POS1” for instance.
